Knitting Updates:

Progress:
I'm still working on Kool Kidz Cardi -almost up to joining the sleeves and decreasing the yoke.

Another project I'm working on is matching cabled vests for my (almost) 4 year old and 9 month (Vests are from Katia Diana-it's simply luscious and approved by my picky son) as well as dressy neckties from rayon ribbon yarn. I'm going to sew them pants to match :-) Stay tuned for details

Other knitting: Lost and Found (because I misplaced it last year, almost sure it was intentionally ) Alpaca Shawl, using a pattern from "Traditional Knitted Lace Shawls" by Martha Waterman. It will be much lacier when blocked. The pattern is very easy and the alpaca is undyed, not treated with any chemicals and amazingly soft. Since I wasn't sure of the yardage (the yarn was purchased at a Sheep and Wool Festival), I picked a pattern that starts from the bottom and knits up (this way I can stop whenever I had enough of mindless knitting or I'm running out of yarn)
